All aspects of passenger, baggage, cargo and airport perimeter security are incorporated. A
security survey can include access control, baggage screening, perimeter security, CCTV,
catering and cargo security as well as passenger screening and profiling.
The services are delivered within the framework of the requirements as defined by the
International Civil Aviation Organisation [ICAO], annex 17 and the Department of Transport
[DfT] in accordance with the procedures laid down by the UK National Aviation Security
Programme.
Aston Aviation Security Department employs world leaders in the aviation security field. The
Director of the aviation department is ex British army special forces. Since leaving the army, has
become a world leader in his field having gained 17 years experience in aviation security. He
was formally a senior manager with the BAA Group and has been awarded all the relevant UK
Department for Transport certificates in both management and training. He holds the official
position of Aviation Security Advisor to the Iraqi Ministry of Transport, Baghdad and is a member
of the International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators [IABTI]. In addition to his
security qualifications, he holds a British National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
